Husnahz’s, Mehnaz’s and Sehnaz’s Story

Husnahz (13 years old) and her sisters Mehnaz (10 years old) and Sehnaz (4 years old), belong to a small family from a Muslim community. They are residing in Hadigaon, Kathmandu for the past 4 years. Their father’s job is embroidery and their mother is a homemaker.

Husnahz, Mehnaz and Sehnaz study at Shree Adarsha Basic School, Balmandir, Naxal.

Husnahz is one of the most responsible and bright children at her school. She is not only excelling in her study, but she also serves as an example for her two younger siblings. She is extremely happy with her academic achievements as she has secured the first position in her class.

She has the responsibility to motivate and educate her two younger sisters. Husnahz hopes to continue her education and fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse and helping the patients in her community. She also wants her younger sisters to have a good education.

The problem is that her family does not have enough funds to support the three children in their education. That is why Husnahz asked Heart Beat if Heart Beat could support them with funding their educational necessities. At Heart Beat we think it is amazing that Husnahz took the initiative to ask for this support for herself and her sisters.
