Many children are living at open spaces around Kathmandu without basic necessities. Since, those children lived away from their family; they lacked parental care and attention. They were not attending any kind of formal education.
Heart Beat motives to educate the children running literacy. The children gathered together to gain the knowledge and learn how to read and write. Besides, reading and learning alphabets, Heart Beat conducts arts and craft, drawing, painting workshop and many more fun games to make learning interesting for the children.
During the School on Wheel program, Heart Beat volunteers used bicycles to travel from one place to another. School on Wheels was a mobile school for the children living on the streets.
Due to changed legal policies by the Nepal Government, Heart Beat had to stop the Tea for Free campaign.
